The LTR (Low Table Rod Base) is a little, adaptable incidental table designed by Charles and Ray Eames, who utilized it in their own home in a wide range of ways. some of these tables are as yet found in the Eames House today. Standing exclusively or in gatherings, some are brightened with objects gathered by the Eameses, while others just fill in as a commonsense side table close to an easy chair or sofa. The LTR is accessible with a chrome covered or dark powder-covered base and a decision of table tops: strong wood with a characteristic completion, HPL plywood or gold leaf on plywood with a straightforward coating. Material portrayal Wooden table top: strong wood with oiled completion; normal oak, smoked oak or American walnut. Origin of wood: oak (Quercus robur) from Western Europe as well as Poland; American pecan (Juglans nigra) from the USA. HPL table top: plywood center, high-pressure overlay surface. Gold leaf table top: plywood center, overlaid surface with straightforward coating. Veneer table top: American cherry (USA). Marble table top: Carrara marble (Italy) Base: steel wire, chrome covered or powder-coated.
