Malacca is a small table designed by Paola Navone. Base made of Manila cane tied with gut parchment. 2 cm thickness top made of lava stone extracted on the slopes of Etna volcano. “Occhio di Pernice” finish, porous and perforated with water-repellent protective oil. The Etnean basalt is a tough material and shows a dark and uniform colour, whose origin is connected to the cooling process of lava flows. Any blemishes, that are attributable to the naturalness of stones, are not to be considered as defects. Top surfaces visibly vary as they are made with natural materials; all pictures are just a rough guide.
